It is time to order your Ecological Christmas Sweaters
Ecological Christmas Sweaters with Scandinavan inspired prints
Last year I ordered Christmas sweaters from my own shop and I can’t wait to wear them again this year! I love having a cozy sweater on, drink a warm cup of tea, and watch Christmas movies at least a month before Christmas day.
As the sweaters are only printed once you have placed your order, it’s good to shop in advance and to have them delivered by December (which is when I start wearing mine). Print-on-demand has the benefit of not having an excessive backlog of out-of-demand styles, and therefore reduces waste. That being said, it does imply an additional week-or-so compared to ordering from a shop with stock ready.
Toile de Lina has two Christmas designs this year, available in different styles and colours.
Let it Snow - A Snowy Christmas Night inspired by the Swedish Mid-Winter Landscape.
The winter solstice, the darkest and coldest part of the winter, is especially beautiful when the stars shine brightly and when fresh snow covers the Christmas trees outside. Christmas celebrations bring so much light and joy during a time of year that the sun only makes brief appearances.
Full of Joy - A Magical Christmas Snow-globe with a little Santa, Flowers, and Snowflakes.
The little Santa pictured in the snow globe is the original Scandinavian version of the more internationally known Santa Claus or Father Christmas. Each household had its own house gnome that they needed to keep on good terms with all year long. Even though we now also have the more international Santa Claus, some traditions remain, such as putting a serving of rice-porridge with milk on the porch the night before Christmas.
The Full of Joy design is also available on Society6 on a wide range of products, including cards, throw pillows, wall hanging, coasters and much more!
You can find all of my Christmas designs in the Toile de Lina Society6 Holiday & Christmas collection.
I hope that you find your new favorite Christmas Sweater!
